I have to be the luckiest person alive. I was fortunate to have grown up in a time and place where everyone went outside to play, television was black and white, and cell phones weren't even invented yet.
My name is John Bleck and I am the author of the Locker 36 series. My story comes from my life in small town America, where I realize I have found what I love to do as I read my adventures to students at Windsor Middle School.
What can I expect?
This class is all about world cultures. You will begin the year learning about civilizations across the Eastern Hemisphere and finish with an introduction of the Americas.
As we learn we will analyze documents and construct responses through inquiry based lessons.
What does the teacher expect?
• Come to class prepared with a pencil and your notes packet.
• Be attentive and respectful towards all students and teachers at all times.
• Follow directions.
• Do your best work every day.
• Ask questions when you don’t understand.
• Complete work and homework on time.

Pencil, three ring binder- every class, every day!
How am I graded?
Grades are based on a variety of assessment methods, including, but not limited to, tests, quizzes, writing assignments, vocabulary work, class work, and homework.
